  What if you were DF'd for apostacy, but instead of the expected...

  this is a hypothethical, so i'm not looking for whether you would ever do this, or "why would you want to subject yourself to this...", but rather, what would happen if some did do this..... .................... you're half of a married jw couple, and you admit to doubts about certain wts teachings and it leads to an eventual disfellowshipping.

  but instead of walking away from the kingdom hall forever, you stay put.

  you faithfully go to every meeting with your spouse.

  I think this would be a great protest to help others wake up. But one person or a couple will not work. If thousands would do this then this might make others think. What if every week at the washtowel study there where more of these silent witnesses than faithful witlesses?

  just a recap.. i posted a thread yesterday about an exchange of e-mails with a well known and respected elder and c.o.

  sibstitute in a spanish circuit somewhere in the u.s. the man is about 50, raised in the truth, belongs to a family where all men are at least elders.

  he is proud to have forsaken his dream of becoming a doctor to serve jehovah.

  Once we are thoroughly convinced we have arrived at the truth, further searching would not only be fruitless, but and we may even be led, due to the enthusiasm of discovery, to dislodging the truth we have correctly acquired.

  The Truth that really is Truth can not be dislodged. Period.

  "Make sure of all things: hold fast to what is fine."

  He admits basically that he does not live by this principle!

  Would it be legal to go door to door with information about the cult?????? I am already trained for this haha.

  Also what would it cost us to get our own lobby?

  How about the bilboard campain?

  Would a tv commercial be legal? Maybe advertising one of the great books available? Just had a funny thought, a super bowl commercial, all the jws would be watching lol.

  after today's watchtower study which was basically a mind controlling article about shunning your loved disfellowshipped ones, i've come to see just how sick, twisted, vile, rotten, repulsive, disgusting, and just plain evil you all are.

  so i stormed out.

  i don't know if i'll ever come back to your meetings again.

  i had the following conversation with a brother ex-bethelite ,left in good standing to start a family and currently a po in his congragation .he regularly gives talks in district and circuit assemblies .we go way back so he tollerates my comments but he is a die hard .we had the following conversation recently.

  me:" have you heard about the new light for the fds?

  elder:"...is that something you read in an apostate website?".

  Well that elder is remembering what you said previously, so he must be thinking on it more than he is letting on! Maybe someday the light will come on for him, or should I say the alarm clock.

  i slept horribly last night because of stress.

  it's been a while since i had insomnia, but the meetings are slowly causing that disorder to make a comeback.

  the " bible " study was one of the most messed up things that i have heard in a long time.
